Brian D. Hills is native New Yorker, but began his theatre career in South Carolina. He is his graduate of the South Carolina Governor’s School for the Arts and Humanities. Brian has performed with a number of regional theatres, traveling across the north, southeast, and Midwest. Brian is recipient of the 2012 AUDELCO Award for Best Actor in a Musical, for his performance in Sally and Tom: The American Way; the show received five AUDELCO Awards. Presently he has been working with Tony Danza with creating a Developmental Theatre Program for The Police Athletic League, (PAL) for the teens of New York City. He also serves on the SUNY, Purchase College Alumni Board. Brian appeared in the American premier of the French Playwright, Marie Nimier’s play Another Year, Another Christmas. He is currently working with Trazana Berverley, the first African American woman to receive a Tony for her performance for For Colored Girls Who have Considered Suicided/ When the Rainbow is Enuf.
