CCI 2.0 PRODUCING PROGRAM
YOU BELONG HERE.
A PLACE OF EXPANSION AND DISCOVERY.
PULLING YOU AWAY FROM YOU AND BRINGING YOU BACK.
Urban Bush Women’s Choreographic Center Initiative (CCI) is a multi-year investment in the development of women choreographers of color. During Phase One (2013-2016), CCI provided direct aid to artists at crucial stages of their careers. The Phase Two (2017-present) programs are designed to support artists and align with institutions across the country.
UBW launched its Choreographic Center Initiative Producing Program (CCI 2.0) in April 2022 to cultivate the next generation of Women+ of color producers, while continuing to support movement makers who have participated in past CCI programs.
CCI 2.0 fellows receive hands-on experience working as Producers on projects created by CCI Alum. They also receive 65 weeks of collaborative learning, a weekly stipend, and mentorship from established Women+ of color producers.
