Zoe Walders
EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT TO THE ACTING EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Zoe Walders is a dancer, choreographer, and arts administrator from Rochester, NY. She holds a BA in Dance from SUNY Potsdam. She is a company dancer with Rochester based company, Frazee Feet Dance, and also works as their Business Manager. She continues to perform with Create a Space NOW, a multimedia and performing arts platform created as the result of a need to engage and further the discussion around Black Lives Matter and social issues dealing with race relations in America. She has choreographed and performed for various arts and dance festivals including The Wake Forest Dance Festival (Wakeforest, NC), Vision of Sound (Rochester, NY), MuCCC Festival (Rochester, NY), and Mare Nostrum Emerging Choreographers Series (New York, NY). Additionally, Zoe was a video documentation intern at Jacob's Pillow, a front desk associate for the Mark Morris Dance Group, the Administrative and Marketing Associate for Caleb Teicher & Co, and Administrative Director of Create a Space NOW.
Zoe’s introduction to Urban Bush Women was at their 2016 Improv & Traditions Workshop at Jacob's Pillow where she served as an intern. Zoe joined the UBW staff in 2018 as the Administrative Associate. Since leaving the position, she returned to the 2020 Virtual SLI as an alumni. Zoe is now so excited to return to the UBW family as the Operations Associate!
