HUMAN RESOURCES & OPERATIONS MANAGER

Tracy comes to Urban Bush Women on a journey highlighted by worker advocacy, adult education, and immigrant rights, examining how power, equity and access are prioritized (or not) in those arenas. She has managed employee relations with restaurant workers, wrestling with how to advocate in a profit-driven industry. As an Adult Ed instructor, she has supported adults on their paths to self-empowerment and agency through pursuing educational goals and learning English. And as an individual, she continues to devote time to volunteer and activist projects in and around Brooklyn.

She is excited and honored for the chance to approach HR from the lens of social justice and creative community work with UBW.
